Panya Vijinthanasarn was born in Prachuap Khiri Khan in 1956. He received B.F.A (Thai Art), Silpakorn University, Bangkok and Certificate of Printmaking, Slade School of Fine Arts, University College London, England.


Panya’s works have been widely exhibited both in Thailand and abroad including, Christies Gallery, London, England, The Spirit of Thai Modern Art San Francisco, U.S.A., "Les Peintres Thailandias Traditionnels it Contemporary", L'espace Pierre Cardin, Paris, France, "Asian Heart and Form", Hiroshima, Japan. He has received numerous awards including, British Council Scholarship, Studied Printmaking, Slade School of Fine Arts, University College London, England Represented Thailand, Painted The Mural Paintings of Thai Pavilion, Expo'88, Brisbane, Australia, Thai Vision I, California Polytechic State University, San Luis Obispo, Calif ornia, U.S.A.


Panya Vijinthanasarn had served Dean of the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts of Silapakorn University in Bangkok. He is presently a lecturer in the Thai Art Department, Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts of Silapakorn University


This special series of lithograph work “Make Merit”,2014 is part of the royal project of Her Royal Highness Princess Aditayathorn Mahidol to raise funds for the benefit of The Royal Kathin Ceremony at Ra Sai Temple, Surin Province. SombatPermpoon Gallery has acquired for Sombat"s Collection.
